Mishimoto thermostats are an effective way to noticeably lower engine coolant temperatures. Mishimoto racing thermostats come complete with a thermostat housing (when applicable) allowing you to replace both your thermostat and your housing. When housing is not provided, Mishimoto engineers have designed racing thermostats to fit with stock thermostat housing. Lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, maintaining lower temperatures. Higher activation temperature allows engine temperatures to rise before coolant begins to flow, ideal for cooler climates.
